⚠️ Important 2026 Update

Do not assume that training can start immediately after grant approval.

HRD Corp has introduced different advance approval periods effective 15 June 2026.

In-House Training

14 days after grant approval

For in-house training, the programme can be conducted 14 days after grant approval.

The approved programme must commence within 90 calendar days after fulfilling the 14-day advance approval requirement.

Public Training

For public training conducted between:

15 June 2026 – 31 December 2026

the training can be conducted:

3 days after grant approval

The approved programme must commence within 90 calendar days after fulfilling the 3-day advance approval requirement.

From 1 January 2027

The public training requirement will return to:

14 days after grant approval

Step 4 – Attend Your BOFA Training

Once the grant has been approved and the applicable waiting period has been fulfilled, your employees can attend the scheduled BOFA training.

Our training combines:

Theory

Understand the principles of workplace first aid and emergency response.

Demonstration

See the correct techniques demonstrated by experienced trainers.

Hands-On Practice

Participants practise essential first aid, CPR and AED skills.

Simulation

Practical scenarios help participants apply what they have learned.

Assessment

Participants are assessed according to the requirements of the training programme.

Step 5 – Training Provider Submits the Training Claim

After the training has been completed, the training provider submits the relevant claim through HRD Corp e-TRiS.

For HRD Corp Claimable Courses, training provider claims must be submitted after grant approval and training completion, and the training provider’s claim must be submitted before the employer submits its claim.

LSPA will process the required training documentation and attendance information for the claim process.

Step 6 – Employer Submits the Claim

After the training provider’s claim process, the employer submits its claim through e-TRiS according to the applicable HRD Corp procedure.

The employer should keep the relevant supporting documents and respond to any HRD Corp queries if required.
